At SunTec, we strive to make windshield replacement an easy and stress-free process on your Ford. Did you know it's Arizona state law that your insurance rates can't increase because of an auto glass replacement no-fault claim? Our highly-trained mobile technicians work with your schedule by visiting your home or workplace, so you can go about your life while your Ford windshield damage gets repaired or we install a new replacement.

Ford Model Years SunTec Provides Windshield Replacement & Repair Services to:

2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020

In many cases, we can service auto glass of vehicles 1999 and older (even all the way to 1981 and further in some instances) but it depends on each unique car, truck or SUV, and if it requires an OEM or OEM-equivalent part. For repairs, since we aren't replacing the entire windshield, we can typically provide mobile "service on most vehicles no matter the age or model. It would then depend on the size of the crack or chip to ensure we could perform a successful service. If the chipped windshield or cracked auto glass is too large of an impediment, our mobile technicians wouldn't be able to repair it as the damage would expand and require a full replacement.

Ford Models 2000-2020

C-MAX Hybrid

C-MAX Hybrid

Ford's C-MAX Hybrid combines the space of a hatchback with the capabilities of a hybrid electric vehicle. Similar in size to the Focus, the C-MAX seats up to 5 Chandler passengers and achieves high numbers when it comes to fuel efficiency. The C-MAX Hybrid is affordably priced and a must-have if you're looking to save money and still have the capacity to carry your family around wherever you go in life.

Contour

Contour

Last produced in 2000, the Ford Contour actually had a 2.5-liter V6 as standard powertrain equipment. This 4-door sedan was available with an automatic or manual transmission and could seat up to 5 passengers comfortably as they drive throughout the city of Gilbert, AZ. Similar in size to the Buick Century of the same era, the Contour wasn't exactly a luxury vehicle but it could still hold its own when it came to fuel efficiency and horsepower. Ford did make a souped-up version of the Contour, named the SVT, which featured the same engine as the base Contour. Amped up to 200 horsepower, the powerplant was only paired with the 5-speed manual transmission.

Crown Victoria

Crown Victoria

Most people recognize the Crown "Vic" as the retired police cruiser class now delegated to private security firms and parking services throughout Mesa, AZ. Produced from 1992 to 2011, the Crown Vic was sibling to the Mercury Grand Marquis. Both models shared the same 4.6-liter V8 engine, though the Mercury did get more horsepower out of the deal. Besides donning black and white to protect and serve, the Crown Victoria also found immense popularity as a yellow taxicab throughout Phoenix and other Valley cities. Capable of seating up to 6 occupants, the Crown Vic was large enough for a Scottsdale family and versatile in many ways.

E-150, E-250, E-350

E-150, E-250, E-350

Collectively known as the Ford Econoline, or E-Series, this group of cargo vans has been produced since the 1960s. Like the F-Series, the E-Series is differentiated by number, with larger numbers denoting a bigger and more capable model. Like the Excursion, the E-Series vans paired ample seating room with tons of cargo space for long freeway drives around Tempe. Though this model did eventually give way to the Transit Connect lineup you've probably seen in around Glendale, AZ. Many HVAC, carpet cleaning, and transport companies made quite the use out of this work-horse group of versatile vans.

EcoSport

EcoSport

Born to the automotive world in the 2018 model year, the Ford EcoSport is to the blue oval what the Encore is to Buick. In other words, the EcoSport nestles right into the niche between hot hatchback and compact SUV. With seating for up to 5 occupants and the ability to jet around Peoria, Arizona and park easily, Ford's EcoSport offers both a turbocharged engine option and available all-wheel drive. It's not necessarily the cargo-hauler you'd want if you have a Goodyear family numbering greater than 4, but it's an affordable AWD subcompact SUV that continues to improve with age.

Edge

Edge

Known as one of Ford's smaller SUVs, the Edge could be what you call the successor to models like the Freestyle. This two-row crossover features curved styling cues that mirror the bold lines and broad panels of the Focus and Fusion sedans. Models are available with a variety of technological gadgets and safety equipment and overall towing can be up to 3,500 pounds. Though it certainly won't off-road in Surprise, AZ like a Jeep might, the Ford Edge is an affordably-priced alternative to Lincoln's all-new Nautilus. Dodge pits their Journey against the Edge, as the Durango sits in a class above, competing with the Expedition and Explorer twins.

Escape

Escape

Glance too quickly at the Ford Edge and you might mistake it for the Escape model. However, the Escape offers a choice of 3 powerplants: a naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter and 2 turbocharged engines available in all-wheel drive. If your Ford Escape requires a cracked windshield replacement, our SunTec crew can service it even if you live as far south as Chandler or Gilbert! The Ford Escape was quite boxy in the early 2000s, resembling the squared edges and rectangular shaping also found in the Expedition and Explorer of that time period as well.

Escort

Escort

Popular back in a time when vehicles weren't much bigger than your typical Mazda Miata, the Ford Escort is a compact sedan with coupe and wagon variants. The curved roof and sloped nose of the vehicle likened it to other competitors of the same time period, but Ford did offer the Escort with either a 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual. A small 4-cylinder engine wouldn't necessarily get you to Gilbert fast, but the gas mileage would make owners happy even back in the day. It's hard to see a future with a new Ford Escort in the cards, considering the blue oval's recent manufacturing decisions regarding their sedan lineup.

Excursion

Excursion

If you could put a truck bed topper on the back of an extended cab Ford F-250, that's about what the Excursion looks like. Last produced in the 2005 model year, the Excursion likely won't leave the Ford archives anytime soon, especially with the Avondale focus on fuel economy. However, Excursions make the perfect hauling vehicle, effectively combining the covered carrying capacity of a topper-ed bed with the towing capacity of an F-Series truck. If you and your family travel throughout Phoenix a lot, check out used Ford Excursions for the ultimate overland vehicle.

Expedition

Expedition

Big brother to the Ford Explorer, the Expedition is a 3-row SUV of about the same size as the F-150. A longer wheelbase and higher cabin height make the Expedition a safety zone when it comes to driving on Tucson highways. A wide and spacious cabin allows for ample maneuverability for both passengers and driver. The Expedition won't necessarily win any awards for fuel efficiency, but current variants are able to tow up to 6,000 pounds when properly equipped. Speaking of the latest generation, some Queen Creek residents might find the Expedition styling to be similar to that of other automotive competitors but the sleek angles Ford has designed it with sets this SUV apart.

Explorer

Explorer

Part of the Surprise, AZ law enforcement's fleet of vehicles, the Ford Explorer shares similar refresh stylings to the Expedition. Strong C-pillars connect the Explorer roof to the chiseled body panels that make up this 3-row SUV. Dynamic cutouts and distinct body lines give the new Explorer a more modern look, though it is interesting to see older models that have 3 side windows but only 2 doors, rather than 4. Consumers can choose from a 4-cylinder or a V6 engine on upcoming models but expect to see a wide variety of available features from Ford on every Explorer model, from the entry-level to the top trims.

Explorer Sport Trac

Explorer Sport Trac

As you may have guessed from the name, the Explorer Sport Trac pickup is based on the Ford Explorer model. Similar to an F-150, just with the Explorer cab, the Sport Trac was produced from 2001 to 2010. The Sport Trac was geared towards outdoorsmen and women who wanted a pickup truck that could go with them anywhere in Mesa. Most notably, the Sport Trac featured a rounded bed extender that could be placed atop the folded-down tailgate to offer those extra few feet of carrying capacity.

F-150

F-150

Each brand has one model that really stands out as the flagship vehicle, and for Ford, it's the F-Series lineup. Yes, a lineup isn't technically one model, but the F-Series represents for Ford what Ram does for Dodge: dependability, versatility, durability, and of course that powerplant power-and oh, how much power it really is. The F-Series technically covers light-duty pickup trucks like the F-150 all the way to the F-750. Most of these higher-marked variants can be classified as work horses, pounding the Gilbert streets on the clock. However, the F-Series has long been associated with high outputs of horsepower and torque capacity, so there's never any question about payload.

F-150 Raptor

F-150 Raptor

Otherwise known as the souped-up F-150, the Ford Raptor is a purpose-built half-ton truck ready to follow you wherever you go in Chandler, AZ. Characterized by Fox shocks and a rugged, aggressive stance, the Raptor competes directly with the Ram Rebel model. The same EcoBoost V6 engine found in the F-150 powers the Raptor, though Ford graciously gave it 2 turbochargers for a monstrous 450 available horsepower. This Ford Raptor might not look like a Jeep or even sound like one, but it certainly gives Wrangler owners something to consider; especially since Jeep doesn't offer a pickup version. Yet.

F-250

F-250

Sitting pretty between the smaller trucks of the F-series lineup and the behemoths that pave the way for their smaller brethren is the Ford F-250. Whereas many Tucson, AZ truck owners settle for the F-150 because of size, price, or that Raptor trim, those who choose the F-250 are looking for a bit more bite than bark. The F-250 isn't necessarily noticeably larger than the F-150, offering similar available trim levels and accoutrements. Competing directly with the Dodge Ram 2500, the Ford F-250 employs a similarly-powerful V8 engine to haul its girth around Scottsdale. Part of the Super Duty lineup as well, the F-250 can be bought as either a bare-bones work truck or a highly-refined chauffeuring machine.

F-350

F-350

Not necessarily the biggest Ford pickup you can buy, the F-350 is still quite a lot of truck for most Tempe drivers to handle. Powered by either a gas 6.2-liter V8 capable of 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque or a diesel 6.7-liter turbocharged V8 with 450 horsepower and a whopping 935 lb-ft of torque, the F-350 is a true team player. Capable of towing anywhere from 15,000 to 34,000 pounds, there's not a lot the F-350 can't do. A Regular Cab, SuperCab, or Crew Cab are available, so you have additional room within the cab for extra tools if necessary. Dually models are also available at Phoenix Ford dealerships as well.

F-450

F-450

Dually tires aren't the only cool accessories found on the Ford F-450 model. One of the larger F-Series trucks, the F-450 has an aluminum body that houses either a gas-powered 6.2-liter V8 or a turbo-diesel 6.7-liter V8. Choose from these powerplants wisely, as the latter will afford you 925 lb-ft of available torque. The F-450 variants can be purchased in 1 of 7 trim levels offered by Ford. Base models begin around $50,000 and top out near $100,000! When outfitted to tow a gooseneck trailer, the F-450 can haul up to 34,000 pounds if properly equipped.

Fiesta

Fiesta

A miniature Focus in all but name, the Ford Fiesta like its bigger brother, is available as a 4-door sedan or a hot hatchback. Beginning with the 2011 model variant, the Fiesta hasn't really changed much in terms of exterior styling. The same rounded features and tight lines make this model the perfect solution for a young Gilbert driver's first car after they receive their license. The newest Fiesta receives power via a 1.6-liter inline-4-cylinder engine, with an optional turbocharged variant for those looking to add a dash of sportiness to the otherwise average compact.

Five Hundred

Five Hundred

Ford's Five Hundred has a distinct design reminiscent of the Volkswagen Beetle. High, sloped arches complement a rounded exterior styling, not unlike the Crown Victoria or Taurus. The Five Hundred was only produced for a 3-year span beginning in 2005. A 3.0-liter V6 engine was the only powerplant available, with all-wheel drive as an option. The Five Hundred (500) competed with other similar-sized sedans but tends to be roomier and a little larger that most others. If you have a Ford Five Hundred and it needs a windshield repair in Scottsdale or other Phoenix areas, give SunTec a call today at: 480-900-7010!

Flex

Flex

Not quite a station wagon but not exactly an SUV either, the Ford Flex rides the line between both worlds. Blocky in shape with a broad, rounded nose, the Flex features large body panels offset by thin pillars. The Flex can seat up to 7 San Tan Valley passengers across 3 rows and yet it doesn't weigh much more than a typical 4-door sedan. All-wheel drive is available on select trims. In production since 2009, the Flex performs averagely when it comes to fuel efficiency but offers Queen Creek customers a variety of customizable features. One of the biggest selling points for the Flex is the amount of available cargo space, especially when the second-row and third-row seats are stowed completely.

Focus

Focus

Many Arizona car owners know the Ford Focus for the RS model; a sporty, manual-only hatchback purpose-built to deliver Ford's version of a racing-inspired experience. While not all Focus models are this powerful, there's still a lot to love. Available as a 4-door sedan or a hatchback, the Ford Focus sits right below the Fusion in Ford's sedan lineup. High fuel economy ratings and lots of extra features make the Focus a popular choice for many Surprise, AZ drivers. Though the Focus competes with seasoned warriors on the road, it's a unique compact car that is not only reliable but also fun to drive around Mesa, Arizona or other parts of the Valley. Have cracked windshield or need a chip repair? Call SunTec today and we can help get your Ford windshield replaced anywhere throughout Phoenix!

Freestar

Freestar

Though longer running than the Ford Windstar, the Freestar was only produced from 2004 to 2007 and shipped in limited quantaties to cities like Ahwatukee. The Freestar closely resembles the Dodge Grand Caravan. Offered in front-wheel and all-wheel drive, the Freestar was powered by a 4.2-liter V6 engine capable of about 200 horsepower. The Freestar improved on the Windstar's handling while at speed, reducing many of the issues from previous years. Standard equipment on nearly any minivan, the dual sliding passengers doors of the Ford Freestar were power operated on some models of select trim.

Freestyle

Freestyle

The Ford Freestyle is perhaps the only Ford to somewhat resemble a Subaru Outback. Produced in a 3-year run, the Freestyle could likely be considered the predecessor to the Flex, which kept a similar wagon-like design but did away with the thick pillars and squished-Explorer look. The Ford Freestyle gets power via a 3.0-liter V6 capable of just over 200 horsepower, the only powerplant available on this model. However, all-wheel drive is a big selling point.

Fusion

Fusion

First produced in 2006, the Ford Fusion received a facelift in the 2013 model year. Sold with hybrid, turbocharged, and naturally-aspirated engine variants, the Fusion filled the gap between the Focus and the Taurus. Capable of seating up to 5 passengers, the Fusion features large trunk space capable of handling an expensive visit to your local Avondale Costco and a number of tech and safety features to boot. The Fusion is one of the few family sedans to afford backseat passengers a decent amount of legroom, especially considering luxury sedans of similar capacity will cost you much more. If your Ford Fusion needs an auto glass replacement or a quick chip repair job, don't hesitate to contact SunTec who can come to you anywhere in Tucson or the Phoenix metro area via our free mobile service.

GT

GT

The Ford GT first gained popularity in 1966 where it won the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Ford then brought the model to production in 2005 and 2006, replicating the supercar-like features and proportions found on the racecar. Available again to the Tucson public for the 2018/2019 model year, the Ford GT directs the power of a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine for off-track capability. Like many sportscars, the GT sits low to the ground, with wide features that maximize aerodynamics for a more grounded experience.

Mustang

Mustang

The Ford Mustang has a special place in the hearts of many Phoenix automotive enthusiasts. First produced in 1964, the iconic model is available in a wide variety of trims and special editions. The Mustang GT derives power from a potent V8 engine capable of 460 horsepower in the current variant. While the standard Mustang has a V6 engine, the GT steps it up with the larger engine and other upgrades which make it a great option for buyers who want something sporty yet reliable. The 2020 Shelby GT500 model to come is reported to be supercharged and on par with the Dodge Hellcat in terms of horsepower. Ford sold the Mustang Cobra from 1993 to 2004. Unique badging wasn't the only thing that set this model apart. The Mustang Boss 302 models were first produced in 1969 and 1970, though Ford did badge select Mustangs between 2012 and 2013 with the same logo. BULLITT Mustangs were produced in vintage models and also in 2001-2002. The Mustang BULLITT can be purchased as a 2019 model and are capable of 480 horsepower via a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a 6-speed manual.

Super Duty

Super Duty

In the truck world, there's a huge difference between passenger pickups and heavy-duty haulers. The Ford Super Duty class represents those bigger 4x4s that make hard work possible. Comprised of the F-250, the F-350, and the F-450, the Super Duty models prioritize capability over pomp and circumstance, though to say they're bare bones is a bit misleading. It's true that you can order the Super Duty series with very little in the way of creature comforts, but when it comes to pulling out the stops, Ford does it well. Super Duty trucks are made to last and are built strong to get the job done right.

Taurus

Taurus

Produced since 1992, the Ford Taurus has seen a number of refreshes, with the latest model exuding the most aggression. Large, broad body panels similar to those found on the Ford Five Hundred give the Taurus a brutal look that lends itself to the police task force. The current Ford Taurus is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine, which makes near 365 horsepower when turbocharged as the SHO model. The Taurus is a great "every day driver" type of car and is easy to operate with performance becoming more a focus in newer models. No matter if you live all the way out in Surprise or Peoria, our SunTec windshield replacement team can meet you and perform a Ford Taurus glass service change or repair at your home or workplace. Call today to schedule an appointment at 480-900-7010!

Thunderbird

Thunderbird

Affectionately known as the T-Bird, the Ford Thunderbird, like the Ford Mustang, enjoys a long history, though it was cut short in 2005. The last variant of the Thunderbird features a convertible top and a MINI Cooper-like front fascia. Sold exclusively as a 2-seater, this model commanded around 280 horsepower from a 3.9-liter V8 engine. Like most convertibles, however, it weighed a ton and didn't necessarily do its predecessors justice. With Ford leaving the sedan market for the more profitable crossover segment, we're not sure the Ford Thunderbird will surface again.

Transit Connect

Transit Connect

If there ever was such a niche for the working minivan, the Ford Transit Connect would dominate the segment. Marketed as a light-duty model, the Transit Connect isn't built on the truck frame found on the Transit series. Both diesel and gas engines are available. If you're thinking about purchasing a Transit van but aren't sure you need a large capacity, check out the Connect model. It's a bit smaller but the capabilities closely mirror what's available on the Transit lineup.

Transit-150, Transit-250, Transit-350

Transit-150, Transit-250, Transit-350

Cargo vans sport a new, more modern look these days, and the Ford Transit series is no exception. Similar in ranking to the F-150, F-250, and the F-350, the Transit trio increases in engine capability and cargo capacity as you move up the lineup. Most Transit vans are characterized by a large front windshield sloping back into a high roofline that translates to increased headroom inside. There are many configurations available for the Transit model, ranging in window count, color, and of course interior accoutrements. Many Chandler businesses have moved from using the Econoline series to Ford's Transit vans for a variety of needs.

Windstar

Windstar

Ford produced only 2 minivans: the Freestar and the Windstar. The Windstar resembles the Dodge Caravan of years ago, complete with a rounded nose and large, flat body panels. This minivan was no slouch either, employing a V6 engine paired to a 4-speed automatic to haul everything from flowers to the entire Peoria family. Ford only produced the Windstar from 1995 to 2003, but in a world where compact SUVs and crossovers dominate the market, it was probably a wise decision on Ford's part to quit while they were ahead.

Bronco

Bronco

Last produced in 1996, the Ford Bronco is purported to return in 2020. Part truck, part SUV, the model could seat up to 6 passengers back in the 1990s. Ford hasn't released a large amount of information on the new rugged vehicle but it is expected to look similar to the F-150, at least from the front. The lifted stance and off-road capabilities are definitely standard equipment though, along with a powerful engine and 4x4-capable transmission.

Ranger

Ranger

Little brother to the F-150, the Ford Ranger represents the blue oval's entry into the small pickup segment. America last saw the Ranger in 2011. The tiny truck stood no taller than a modern-day sedan and only small children could wedge behind the front seats to sit facing one another. The Ford Ranger versions are excellent practical trucks and if you own one and have windshield damage, don't hesitate to contact SunTec for a crack/chip repair or full replacement! It will be headed to the Mesa, Arizona market in early 2020 or sooner so get ready midsize truck lovers!
